Book Review: On Magnolia Lane

On Magnolia Lane

by Denise Hunter

Thomas Nelson
Pub Date 06 Nov 2018

I am reviewing a copy of On Magnolia Lane through Thomas Nelson Fiction and Netgalley:

Jack found it easy to fall in love with Daisy but telling her how he feels proves to be more difficult when his secret becomes more problematic when his secret feelings lead to bigger complications!

Two years of counseling sessions with Daisy Pendleton has earned Pastor Jack McReady a permanent place in her life as a spiritual leader but nothing more than that and Jack is not going to risk her trust by sharing his heart but he is helplessly in love with her.

Daisy loves her small town, southern life as well as her job at her family run flowershop but she doesn’t have the thing she longs for and that is someone to share it with. That is until she meets TJ!

Jack can’t believe his friend used his initals as well as an indistinct photo to set up a profile for Jack on the dating app Daisy uses. When he is finally given the opportunity to show another side of himself, he is sucked into the plan before he has a chance for second guesses.

Daisy shares some of her greatest fears with TJ Online. In Person Jack and Daisy are spending more time in person. When a devastating family secret comes to light Daisy knows only Jack her trusted friend and counselor can bring her the comf she needs. Jack desires to be both men for Daisy but revealing his secret may be Daisy’s greatest test of Grace.

I give On Magnolia Lane five out of five stars!

Happy Reading!
